Hi, I’m Dan Polanco, a Professional Bilingual DJ & MC based in Raleigh, North Carolina!

Music has been part of my life since day one—literally. There’s a photo of me at just one year old, wearing headphones listening to music, and that pretty much set the tone. I come from a family that lives and breathes music, and by 2010, DJing went from a passion to a way of life. Since 2015, I’ve been DJing professionally, and I’ve never looked back.

What drives me? It’s simple: seeing people light up when I play that song. The one that sparks memories, gets them dancing, and fills the room with joy. My mission has always been to bring happiness through music—and I take that seriously.

I’m heavy on the mixing, high-energy, and always tuned in to the crowd. While there are a lot of talented DJs out there, I stand out by obsessing over the details—carefully crafting my sets to keep the dance floor full, and working closely with my clients to make sure the vibe is just right. After all, they know their people, and I’m here to bring their vision to life.

I don’t stick to one genre—I play it all, and I read the crowd by watching for the subtle cues: a head nod here, a smile there. It’s not just about what I play, it’s about how people feel. Most of my work is in weddings, but I’m also diving into the corporate event space. I offer MC services and uplighting as well for a full experience.

When you hire me, you’re not getting a DJ from a big company—you’re getting me. Someone who genuinely cares about your event, takes the time to understand your crowd, and brings a personal, professional touch every step of the way. One of my favorite memories? A wedding where the crowd got so hyped, they started tossing the groom into the air! Moments like that are why I do this.

I believe I was put on this earth to spread joy—and I do that best with music.
